DS Lite Rumble Cart

A simple DS Lite rumble cart that fits into a DS Lite GBA dust cover which works with DS Lite rumble games such as Metroid Prime Pinball, Metroid Prime Hunters, Clubhouse Games, etc. The rumble strength is slightly adjustable using the trimpot on the board. Designed and made in Australia.

Cart shell is NOT included. Optional reproduction dust covers are available. Trimming of the DS Lite dust cover is required – check the picture. Each unit is assembled in house and is tested on a DS Lite.

Works on the Analogue Pocket that supports rumble on GBC/GBA games. If you use this on an Analogue Pocket, some users have found you need to not insert it all the way as sometimes it doesn’t make proper contact.

Having issues with rumble not working? One user reported these steps:

AceKard 3DS X, official R4, and clone R4, with Wood fw v1.62, so hopefully this is universal if anyone has issues.

  1. Start button -> Settings -> Patches -> “Reset in Game” to “on” and choose “Reset Hotkey”
  1. Select game, press Y -> Y to open per-game settings, in Compatibility set “Rumble strength” to low/middle/high
  1. Boot any game, immediately do in-game reset with chosen hotkey, then boot the game you want to play

Step 1 only has to be done once, Step 2 once per game, but Step 3 has to be done every time. If the above doesn’t work, try reformatting the SD card and reinstalling fresh firmware.
