This re-programmable multi-game cart flash cartridge allows you to play GBA games that support 256Kbit SRAM/FRAM saves. You could patch games that use EEPROM saves with GBATA to have them work too. For a full list of games that should work, please check out the listing here and search for “256K SRAM” or “256K FRAM”. Any game without saves will work. You will need GBxCart RW to re-write this flash cart, won’t work with other flashers. Download the special flasher program for: 32MB or 128MB. Designed and made in Australia.

This flash cart features:
– 1MB flash blocks for the 32MB cart (1MB is used by the loader so you have 31MB free) or 2MB flash blocks for the 128MB cart (2MB is used by the loader so you have 126MB free)
– 4 banks of 256Kbit of FRAM (can use 2 banks of 512Kbit instead)

You could play 4 separate games that use 256Kbit SRAM/FRAM, just make sure they are on different FRAM banks (0-3).

32MB cart works on the Analogue Pocket but we can’t make any guarantees on the 128MB cart.

This cart should work on every system that supports GBA carts – GBA, GBA SP, GB Micro, DS, DS Lite and the Game Boy Player. This cart uses 5-10mA more compared to a regular cart.

Comes in a generic clear GBA cartridge. The board won’t fit in a genuine cartridge. Each unit is assembled in house and is tested on a Gameboy Advance.

How to flash a game

Simply drag and drop the rom file to the exe file and enter the bank you would like to write to. It will write a “banks.txt” and “blocks.txt” to the folder to keep track of the space utilisation and the next bank you should write another game to.

How to change into a game or change the FRAM bank

Simply run the exe file by itself and make your selection. Once you change into a game, you can then use the GBxCart GUI to backup/restore your save.
