GBA 3-in-1, 32MB (x3), 1Mbit (x3) Flash Save with RTC, Flash Cart (Works with Pokemon games)

$94.00 USD

This re-programmable Flash Cartridge has a 3 position switch which allows you to change between 3x 32MB games and 3x 1Mbit flash saves so you could have R/E/S all on the one cart. Allows you to play GBA games that support the 1Mbit flash saves such as all of the Pokemon games – Ruby, Emerald, Fire Red, etc, should work with hacks too and now has RTC support! Designed and made in Australia.

Restocked once every 1-2 months. Need to flash a game on this cart? Make sure to grab our GBxCart Flasher.

Check the list of games we have tested below and any game without saves will work. Also check below on how to determine if your game’s RTC will work properly.

Comes in a generic blue GBA cartridge. Looking for other colour cart shells? Check our high quality GBA cart shell listing. You will need to trim/file the shell yourself, does NOT come pre-trimmed. Likely won’t work properly on the Analogue Pocket, purchase at your own risk.

Description

Why did we make this cart when you can pick up an EZ-Flash instead? A few users requested it! Since it’s just a regular cart, you’ll boot straight into the game and you can power off your system right after saving.

Please note that the RTC chip appears to be sensitive to moisture levels of 60-70% or higher. If exposed to these environments for a few hours the RTC may stop ticking.

This cart should work on every system that supports GBA carts – GBA, GBA SP, GB Micro, DS, DS Lite and the Game Boy Player. This cart uses 5-10mA more compared to a regular cart. If you would like us to test a game, check the Game saves tested list below.

Battery: CR1616 (should last 3-4 years)

The PCB finish is ENIG.

How to re-write the cart:
Option 1. Use FlashGBX as normal, don’t do a chip erase

Option 2
Make sure you are using the older Flasher v1.47+.
Select the GBA 32MB / 3-in-1 option and choose your rom file as normal.
Once the flashing is complete, flick the switch and flash your next file.

RTC time is incorrect after restoring a save
You can either choose to remove the RTC offset on the save file or change the RTC offset to match the other save files. If you choose to remove the RTC offset, it will have to be done for all save files and then run the: GBxCart Read/Write GBA Cart’s RTC program

How to test if RTC will work:
Open the ROM file in VBA v1.7.2, use the space bar to fast forward the game until you get to set the clock. Keep holding down the space bar for 10 seconds, if the clock hasn’t advanced that means it will work in this cartridge as the ROM hasn’t been patched.

Saving in these games have been tested to work:
(this list is only a small selection of games that isn’t kept up to date, make sure if you need to patch games you use the original rom)

  • F-Zero – Climax (Jpn)
  • Pokemon Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire (all should work with Pal Park)
  • Pokemon hacks – Gaia, Radical Red, Unbound v1.1.2, Crystal Advance (2021-01-08)
  • Pokemon Mystery Dungeon – Red Rescue Team
  • Super Mario Advance 4 – Super Mario Bros.
  • MegaMan Battle Network 4.5 with the ENG Patch (CRC32: 0A7D0372)

RTC in these games have been tested to work:

  • Pokemon Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire
  • Pokemon hacks – Unbound v1.1.2, Crystal Advance (2021-01-08)
  • MegaMan Battle Network 4.5 with the ENG Patch (CRC32: 0A7D0372)

RTC in these hacks don’t work:

  • Adventure-red-chapter-b15-exp-fix-c. Also the game is too large to fit, but the 15D (unofficial) will fit ok
