Gameboy 4MB 32KB FRAM MBC3 RTC Mini Flash Cart (For Pokemon games/hacks like CC, fits in a GBA repro cartridge)

This is a unique Gameboy flash cart which fits inside a GBA repro cartridge so you can play on the GBA and GBA SP without the cartridge sticking out like it does for a regular Gameboy cartridge. Because of that, this cart will only work in the GBA, GBA SP and the Game Boy Player. The GBA repro cart will need to trigger GB mode – we did this with a bit of hot glue on the bottom left side. The cartridge may have a bit of a bulge due to the battery, this is more noticeable on the clear blue/dark grey cartridges.

Usually MBC3 chips only allow for 2MB of flash however by adding a special logic chip, we can extend the flash size to 4MB so you can future proof your RTC cart. Re-flashable with any flasher like GBxCart RW that supports the MBM29F033C chip via the audio pin method. Uses FRAM to keep the save so no battery is required, it’s only used for the RTC. Designed and made in Australia.

Does not include a generic cart shell as the battery makes it difficult to close on the generic types. You will need to purchase a high quality GBA cart shell which you will need to modify yourself to trigger GB mode
