Description
This cart works on every Gameboy system – GB, MGB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP and the Game Boy Player. Games that require more than 4MB of ROM won’t work. Check this list of Gameboy games to see the ROM/RAM size and MBC type your game will have.
Comes in a generic clear Gameboy cartridge with a small cut out (originally for an SD cart slot) for the USB-C connector and our label (separately for you to apply). Each unit is assembled in house and is tested on a Gameboy Advance. You can supply the ROM file for us to flash the cart if you like, it will be tested for 20-30 seconds to ensure it works.

Warning
Don’t plug in the USB cable if the cartridge is inserted into a Gameboy
Normal USB operation method (as of 9 August 2020)
When plugged into your PC, the LED on the board will light up which means it ready to connect. When inserted into a Gameboy, the LED will light up but then turn off after half a second.
Old USB operation method (before 9 August 2020)
The LED on the board will blink when the device is plugged into a USB port if a USB signal is detected within 3 seconds. This means if you plug it in before the CH340 driver is installed correctly or before the operating system has booted, the LED won’t blink and thus you won’t be able to communicate with the cart. This is to reduce power consumption of the cart when in use in a Gameboy.
The PCB finish is ENIG.
It will be loaded with LSDJ Stable 8.5.1.
